We had a great time here at CH&F the other weekend. On the Saturday we had a pole photo shoot, organised by the smashing Hannah Guy with photographs taken by the wonderful Phil Darko, www.darkophotography.co.uk. Hannah has posted a little video on Facebook for you.
On Sunday, we had yoga workshop hosted by the lovely Hannah Stewart. That was followed by a few snacks, (you might have seen them on the FB page!) made by me! Everyone enjoyed the workshop and we are already planning when the next one will be. As for the snacks, thankfully everyone liked those too and said they can’t wait for the coffee shop/tea room to open; which was lovely to hear.
Both events brought us to the attention of lots of new people, either by seeing the posts on FB or coming to one of the events and that’s great for us. Some have said that they will be back to us soon for a class, and obviously, more snacks when we open the downstairs!
On the downside of all this new attention though was the money being taken from the studio after a very busy yoga class. But I suppose you have to take the rough with the smooth. It does mean though that we are having to look at how we take bookings and money from now on, which might be inconvenient for some of you and I apologise. However, in light of the events I’m sure you’ll understand. We are going to try to make things easy for you and hope you’ll work with us on this.
So not to end on a sour note, thank you to every one who helped make the weekend the success it was. We couldn’t have done it without you. It helped promote us and raise awareness of us and on that can only be a good thing.
